Our starting point is a curated collection of luxury hotels and room categories in the South of France. We organise hotel intelligence into structured attributes, from privacy and design to dining, service, beach access and the character of individual rooms.
Hotel attributes are assessed against consistent criteria, with supporting sources and evidence retained for review. These assessments involve judgement. They describe a property’s strengths and trade-offs, rather than a universal definition of the best hotel.
A different match for every traveller
A secluded retreat and a lively Riviera address can both be exceptional. The better choice depends on the trip you have in mind.
Our proprietary matching methodology compares researched hotel characteristics with your individual preferences. It gives weight to the qualities you value, considers the atmosphere and location you seek, and selects a room with your party size and available budget evidence in mind. Defined scoring and selection rules determine the order of your shortlist.
Where AI helps
AI helps us interpret your travel brief and write concise explanations from the hotel information and match results, so you can understand why we decided to recommend this hotel for you.
The ranking itself is calculated by our matching rules against approved hotel and room data. AI does not choose the winning hotel or set the order of your recommendations.
A recommendation you can understand
Your shortlist brings together a hotel, a recommended room, the reasons it fits and any relevant trade-offs identified by the match. The match percentage expresses how closely a stay aligns with your preferences; it is not a general hotel rating.
Where pricing is indicative or unavailable, we say so. Recommendations are a starting point for choosing your stay; current rates and availability still need to be confirmed for your dates.
